After 5 years, Williams Esports changed the iconic livery used in all sim racing competitions: Main livery, partner versions and Academy liveries.
The new livery brings a boost of blue and a unique design similar to the Williams Racing livery on the FW46.
These new assets are introduced into the livery following a new rebrand image into the Esports team, as well as fitting new partners we have welcomed on this 2024 season: Myprotein, Komatsu and new kit supplier, Puma.
Williams Racing’s Alex Albon had the chance to see the team livery early, highlighting that it’s “more blue and inline with the F1 car” as well as “the Duracell touch on the rear wing is cool.”
Excited to see the car on track in our competitions, he finished with: “I like it, let’s go racing!"
Williams used more than 10 different livery variations, and the aim to keep maintaining the same quantity and quality with the new ones.
An iconic move from the brand as all partnered liveries maintained a Williams Esports touch on the rear of the car to keep the paint related to the team and representing the team on multiple series named by partners (Chillblast, BenQ, etc) and category (Williams Esports, Academy, etc).
“We could use green, purple or blue as our primary colour on the car and fans would still see it as Williams Esports," confirmed Javi Guerra, Ops Manager.
It will take some time to adapt to the new team livery the team released on the season launch Twitch stream. Williams Esports has only run 2 different liveries since the team was launched on May 2018.
