Get set for Round 12 as we prepare to race at Silverstone

Williams Racing is preparing for one of the most highly anticipated races of the Formula 1 season - the British Grand Prix.
As our home race here in the UK, Silverstone is a legendary venue, teeming with fans, iconic memories and moments for all of us here at Grove HQ.
So, in anticipation of the Grand Prix, we have pulled together five things for Williams Racing fans to focus on during our race weekend.

Special livery

For many teams, including Williams Racing, the British Grand Prix is the home race on the Formula 1 calendar, so to celebrate, we have released a one-off livery.
Our Williams Racing FW46 will display the names of all 1,005 team members in a stunning Union Jack livery design to pay tribute to all the work from Grove HQ, New York, London bases, and at races.
In demonstrating exceptional teamwork and resilience under pressure this season, the design is an ode to the mammoth effort it takes to race in Formula 1.
We can’t wait to see it out on track this weekend!

Where’s Williams Fan Zone Experience

In addition to our hugely popular Fan Zone, we have also released an all-new mobile game with the chance to win prizes.
The augmented reality (AR) mobile game is now live and ready for users to play in London, as you are tasked with visiting some iconic locations using the map to guide you.
Not only will you collect exclusive badges on your travels, but you’ll also be given the opportunity to pick up a unique prize at our Fan Zone.

Franco for FP1

If you haven’t seen the latest news already, Williams Racing Academy driver Franco Colapinto will be jumping in the cockpit of our FW46 for FP1 at the British GP.
The Argentine joined our programme in January 2023 and has since made his debut in FIA Formula 2 this season, where he currently ranks fifth in the driver standings.
Franco has quickly found his feet in the F2 series, capturing one Sprint Race victory at Imola while also managing successive P2 finishes in his last two Feature Races at Barcelona and Spielberg.
We can’t wait to have him join us at the Williams garage and see him in the FW46 at Silverstone for the morning session. To learn more about the rising star, click here.
