Event 4 of the
Prodigy Three Championship at Atlanta Motorsports Park was always going to be emotionally challenging for Williams Esports. With a series-mandated driver release looming, our close-knit team had to make the tough call to part ways with one of our own.
But that didn’t stop our drivers from delivering an incredible performance, showcasing skill, determination, and teamwork throughout the event.

Qualifying
The event saw a breakthrough moment for Nathan Saxon, who qualified for the team for the first time ever. Despite giving it his all, he landed P6, meaning we had to start on the outside for both races – never an easy task on a tight and technical track like Atlanta.
Race 1: Williams Esports vs TC Racing
The opening race of the weekend turned into an intense showdown against TC Racing. Our drivers fought hard, trading paint and even picking up some minor damage in the process.
Despite the aggressive racing, we managed to secure a strong haul of points, locking in P3, P4, P5, and P6. Although we narrowly missed out on the victory, the results put us in a solid position for Race 2.
Race 2: Williams Esports vs BS+ Competition
The second race brought even more drama as we experienced our first safety car period of the championship. Following an incident involving BS+ Competition’s Vielma, the pack was bunched up, setting the stage for a thrilling conclusion.
Kamden Hibbitt pushed hard to challenge Garrett for the win but ultimately had to settle for P2. David Dalton Jr. followed closely in P3, with Nathan Saxon in P5 and Siro Zambra in P7. It was a major win for the team as we bested one of our oldest sim racing rivals, BS+ Competition.
Teams Championship Standings: P3
With another strong set of results, we locked in P3 in the Teams Championship standings, positioning ourselves well heading into the playoffs at NOLA Motorsports Park at the end of this month.
Farewell to Siro Zambra
One of the toughest moments of the event was saying goodbye to Siro Zambra from our Prodigy Three line-up. As part of the series' structure, every team was required to release a driver heading into the P2 Championship. Unfortunately, this meant Siro would not progress but instead re-enter the draft for next year’s P3 while remaining a Williams Esports Academy driver.
"Siro... what a remarkable individual,” Ben Hawkins, Head of Performance (Esports), reflected.
“From the first time I met Siro, I knew he was special. And he has done himself proud in this championship, making unrivaled progress. It’s easy to forget that he hadn’t raced a real car before Racing Prodigy.
“Ultimately, we had to drop a driver, and this decision is no reflection on him, it’s more about what he needs for his development. This is not the end of the road for Siro and Williams."
With heavy hearts but high spirits, we now set our sights on NOLA, where the final showdown awaits on March 29-30.
