Parker White claimed the Drivers’ Championship after a dramatic last lap

Williams Esports are celebrating one of the most historic nights in their history after securing both the Driver and Team Championships at the finale of the 2024 eNASCAR Coca-Cola iRacing Series Season.
Held live at the NASCAR Hall of Fame, Parker White came into the event as the young gun looking to shock the world, and he put himself in a good position after Qualifying P3, just -0.004 off the front.
Teammate Donovan Strauss lined up P7 and the Williams duo enjoyed a good start, keeping it clean on the opening laps around Homestead Miami Speedway.
Having successfully navigated five caution periods, Parker entered overtime with the title still within reach, however the three other hopefuls were also right up the front with him.

As they entered the final lap, Parker made it four wide into Turn 1 and surged into the lead when title rival Steven Wilson went high.
Entering the back straight at the head of the field, he showed his bumper to another championship challenger, Bobby Zalenski, which ran him up the banking and into the barrier.
Parker held on to his #53 machine and with one turn to go, Zalenski again made contact with the Williams car. Once again, Parker was equal to the hit and fist pumped the air across the line after securing another victory and his very first eNASCAR title.
Enjoy the unbelievable final lap.
It was a remarkable finish, one the commentators and live audience couldn’t quite believe, but Parker and Williams had done it.
A P1 finish, alongside Donovan Strauss’s efforts, who had led 19 laps earlier in the race, locked in the Teams’ Championship for Williams - the first time a European outfit has won both eNASCAR titles.

For the 18-year-old from Norridgewock, Maine, taking the title and the $100,000 prize in his sophomore year is a remarkable achievement.
