It's the second trip of the year to the USA for the 2023 Formula One World Championship as Texas hosts the United States Grand Prix.

After F1 struggled to establish a permanent home in the U.S. for years, the 5.513km Circuit of the Americas looks to have filled that void, with F1 making a trip to the usually sold-out Texas track every year since 2012 (although the COVID-19 pandemic prevented a 2020 race).

The track takes inspiration from classic circuits across the globe like Silverstone, Suzuka, and Hockenheim. There's no shame in that – the Circuit of the Americas has a little bit of everything, so it's no surprise great racing always happens here.

In 2023, COTA will play host to the penultimate F1 Sprint of the season, meaning extra points are up for grabs in Saturday's 100km dash.
