SUSTAINABILITY STRATEGY
At Williams Racing, we have a higher purpose that extends far beyond the track. With our Sustainability Strategy, we wish to educate and inspire our global audience to push the boundaries of technology and innovation by becoming a catalyst for change, as well as extending our commitment to sustainability on and off the racetrack. For over four decades of elite competition, our responsibilities have continued to evolve and expand. This is evident in innovative technologies we originally developed for racing cars that now support solutions to environmental challenges. Our future-oriented team continuously demonstrates what can be accomplished in a truly inclusive organisation. We take complete responsibility for all aspects within our ongoing sustainability strategy and the way it is communicated externally.
CASE STUDIES
Williams Racing has a deep and personal connection with the Spinal Injuries Association through the support the team's founder, Sir Frank Williams, received following a life changing car accident in 1986.
The Williams Racing Campus in Grove, UK is traversed by the Letcombe Brook, one of only 240 chalk bed streams in the world.
Williams Racing is proud to offer a range of early career opportunities to broaden access to our industry.
SUSTAINABILITY ACCREDITATION
Williams Racing has been awarded the Three-Star Certificate in the FIA’s Environmental Accreditation Programme.
We are proud to confirm that we have been awarded the highest level of the Environmental Accreditation by the FIA, following an audit of our Environmental Management System in August 2021.
The FIA Environmental Accreditation Programme is based on existing best practices in environmental sustainability, primarily the ISO 14001 and aims at helping key players in the motorsport and automotive sector measure and enhance their environmental performance, by means of an independent certification process.
