BIOGRAPHY
Victor Martins is a Williams Racing Academy Driver competing in Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix in 2025.
Victor first took to karting at 10 years old and quickly found success. With stand-out performances in the 2016 CIK-FIA Junior World Karting Championship, he was crowned champion in a dominant season. He achieved numerous accolades in his journey to single seaters, including winning the WSK Final Cup – OKJ, graduating to French Formula 4 in 2017.
His first season in single seaters proved successful, securing four wins and eleven podiums to finish the championship second overall. His 2018 campaign in Formula Renault Eurocup saw him step on the podium a further six times, including two wins. Entering his second season in the series in 2019, he built on his previous experience to end the year as runner-up with six wins and fourteen podiums.
Victor made another step forward in 2020, becoming champion of the 2020 Formula Renault Eurocup with ART Grand Prix. The following year, he debuted in Formula 3 with MP Motorsport earning one win, five further podiums, and four fastest laps. He ended the season in fifth position as the top rookie in the series.
In 2022, Victor secured the Formula 3 Drivers’ Championship with ART Grand Prix with two wins and four further podiums, only failing to score on four occasions throughout the year.
In the 2023 Formula 2 season, Victor was ranked top rookie in fifth position, getting one win and helping ART win the Teams’ Championship. 2024 saw him secure another win with ART, finishing the season in seventh.
Victor was announced as a Williams Racing Academy Driver in 2025 and is competing in Formula 2 with ART Grand Prix for a third year.
