How do four girls who live in four completely different states end up together on the streets of NYC in February? Our mutual love for Williams Racing.
The four of us (Reagan, Hailey, Lex and Tay) all met via social media because of our shared interest in the team and their drivers. One thing led to another, and when the season launch event was announced, all it took was one text message from Lex to have us all booking travel: Where there is a will(iams), there is a way.
None of us had ever met in person, but the connection was so strong immediately. Sharing a hotel room the first weekend we met turned into buying tickets to our first Grand Prix together and now planning vacations out of the country well into next year.
There is no group of people we’d trust more than these girls. Their families have welcomed us into their homes, and their lives. We are there for each other for the big stuff: when things are hard, when the world is mean. But we are also there for the little stuff, to hear about a new shirt you bought or your morning coffee. We laugh harder than ever around each other and can share anything, no detail too embarrassing or topic too mundane.
Over the last year, we have attended the Miami Grand Prix and COTA together, with two of us on our way to the Vegas Grand Prix in two weeks’ time, and tickets to Silverstone in 2025 have already been purchased. One common thread between us is our love for the Williams Fan Zones.
Photos of our 2024 season so far!
Getting to meet the drivers on multiple occasions has been incredible, but on top of that, we have made real connections with Williams workers. I’ll never forget walking into the Miami Fan Zone and hearing “I met you all in New York!” from the girl working the register, or the (slightly teasing) “See you guys at the next one!” from employees we now know by name.
It feels like our group has been welcomed into the Williams family. There is so much love and excitement in these spaces, none of which would be possible without the incredible fan experience teams.
The energy that Williams exudes is unlike any other team on the grid. You can truly feel how much they appreciate every single person who not only physically attends their experiences but also shows their team support online as well.
We will never forget everything that Williams has done for us. It brought us our favorite people. We will forever be life-long Williams fans, always in their corner and cheering on the drivers and everyone working behind the scenes.
Where There is a Williams, There is a Way.
