The final leg of Formula 1’s first triple header brings the paddock to Jeddah for Round 5 of the 2025 season. After a challenging but educational weekend in Bahrain, Atlassian Williams Racing heads into Saudi Arabia determined to turn lessons learned into on-track performance.
Alex Albon remains focused and ready to bounce back on one of the most demanding street circuits on the calendar.
"Although Bahrain was an unfortunate weekend for the team, we came away having learned a lot and had really strong race pace,” he shared.
“We’ll be looking to apply those learnings as we head to Saudi Arabia for the final race of the triple-header. Jeddah is one of the fastest street circuits on the calendar, so there’s little room for error.
“This year, the gaps are so tight that Qualifying and the race must be as close to perfect as possible to get points, so we need to give it everything we have in order to fight it out in the midfield."
Carlos Sainz is equally eager to return to the cockpit and build on the team’s recent pace.
"Whilst it’s never a good feeling coming off a DNF, we showed good pace during the entire weekend in Bahrain, so we’ll look to carry this into Saudi,” he explained. “It’s a fast track that requires a consistent build up through the practice sessions, requiring complete confidence in the car when it comes to Qualifying.
“I haven’t driven this track properly for two years now after missing it last year, so I’m looking forward to this fun circuit and to see what learnings from the past two weeks we can take to maximise the weekend."
The prediction window for this Grand Prix has now closed.
