Behind the Badge: Azerbaijan

Formula 1 is finally back this weekend, which means it’s time to add our latest badge to your collection.

Each race weekend brings with it a fresh design inspired by our race destination. If you’ve already collected the badges from the first three rounds, don’t forget there’s an exclusive money-can’t-buy prize up for grabs if you complete the set.

The Azerbaijan Grand Prix Badge has been inspired by the famous Baku Flame Towers, as well as elements from the Azerbaijani flag.

It is a representation of the city's unique blend of modernity and tradition. The dynamic energy of the Azerbaijan GP is evoked through the bold lines and geometric shapes of the Flame Towers, which feature prominently in the design.

The colours used in the badge reflect the sandy hues of the shrub desert and steppe landscape.
