Could you beat The Strategist in Lusail and are you set for Abu Dhabi?

This weekend's Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf was going to be a low-scoring affair as only one Williams Racing FW46 reached the chequered flag.
Just 5.6% of players in the Qatar GP's PWP scored over half marks, but four of you still managed this week's highest score of 6/8.
Were you one of them, and could you outscore The Strategist in the penultimate round?

Q1 & Q2: On which lap will Alex/Franco make their first stop?

Only one Williams Racing car could make a pit stop in this year's Qatar GP, and it was a late one, too, with tyre degradation being lower than expected.
Alex's Lap 35 stop wrong-footed 99.3% of players, with 99.8% not scoring points after Franco's retirement.
The Strategist didn't score here, so don't worry if you didn't either.

Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?

The Strategist went for Albono for this question, and 71% of players correctly followed them with that choice.
Of course, we'll never know if Franco would've been the one to box before, but most of you scored five points thanks to FC43's misfortune.

Q4: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?

More points for The Strategist and more points for the 61.4% of PWP players who believed we'd be sitting P11-P15 during the first Williams Racing pit stops.
Alex was P12 after overtaking Lewis Hamilton's punctured Mercedes on his way to stopping during the second Safety Car slowdown.

Q5: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

The longevity of the tyres made this weekend's race a one-stopper for most runners.
If both FW46 cars followed that runplan, then 61.4% would've scored points for their foresight.
As it was, Alex's late-race stop to freshen up his softs meant we still performed two tyre changes, just on one car, so those players got five points here.
The Strategist was wrong with their selection of four.

Q6: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

The Strategist chose "zero" after an uneventful first two days in Lusail, while the majority (54.6%) of you thought there'd be one SC intervention.
Just 0.6% of players went for "3+" here, and would've been happy for the mid-race chaos that led to the three slowdowns.

Q7: Which driver will set our fastest lap of the race?

"I’m hoping Albono will see the chequered flag," were the words of The Strategist ahead of the Qatar GP after he backed Alex to be the one to take our fastest lap.
That's five points for The Strategist and 70.3% of players, after Franco couldn't complete a tour of Lusail.

Q8: Where will the highest placing Williams driver finish the race?

Points for most players here, and for The Strategist, who correctly predicted a P11-P15 finish.
Alex's pit stop dropped him to P15, but he was comfortably in that winning bracket during the final laps anyway.
The Strategist's Score: 4/8
Twenty points for The Strategist, who is now officially out of the running for the P1 in 2024's PWP.
It was a commendable effort in a tough-to-call race, though, and just 29.1% of you scored the 20 or higher in Qatar.
The tightness at the top continues into the final round as our leading duo enter Abu Dhabi with just five points between them.
You can enter your Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, for Abu Dhabi anytime from now until the formation lap begins at Yas Marina.
