Have you made your Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, for the Saudi Arabian GP? If not, don’t worry! You have until the formation lap of Saturday’s race to make your picks and any changes.
If you need a little helping hand, our secretive Grove guru – known only as ‘The Strategist’ – has had their say on this week's questions.
Here are their recommendations for Round 2 in Jeddah:
Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?
Lap 11-20. If we enjoy a clean opening few tours of the Jeddah Corniche Circuit, I see no reason why we wouldn’t pull in around this time.
Q2: On which lap will Logan make his first stop?
Lap 11-20. Same story for Logan. This looks like it will be the pit window.
Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?
Alex. This wasn’t the case for us in Bahrain, but I think we’ll see our No23 pull into the pits before Logan this time around.
Q4: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?
P11-15. Our pace over the weekend so far suggests we’ll be there or thereabouts with the rest of the midfield.
Q5: When Alex makes his first stop, what will the gap be between him and the car ahead be?
0.1-2.5s. I fancy Alex to be right in the fight with those ahead of him when he dives into the pits.
Q6: When Logan makes his first stop, what will the gap be between him and the car ahead be?
0.1-2.5s. I think it will be a similar story for Sarge, battling away when he comes into the box.
Q7: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?
None. I feel that any incident around this fast, flowing venue will require a full Safety Car intervention as opposed to just the VSC.
Q8: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?
Two. As a result, I think we’ll see Bernd Mayländer lead the pack around the corniche on a couple of occasions.
That’s what The Strategist has to say, but do you agree? Get your predictions in before we move off the grid on Saturday to make the best possible start to your Pit Wall Prediction season!
