This year’s Williams Racing Melbourne Fan Zone, presented by Kraken, is set to be the biggest and best to date!
We are open all week long at the Atrium in Fed Square, with plenty to explore and enjoy as our team prepares for week three of the race calendar.
Our base for the seven days lies at the epicentre of Melbourne with several transport options, so we have you covered with all the links to find us.
You'll find us at the Atrium in Fed Square...
By Tram
Our recommended route to the Williams Racing Melbourne Fan Zone is by tram — we are located opposite the Russell St/Flinders St (Melbourne City) stop.
Importantly, this is part of Melbourne’s Free Tram Zone, which means travel on trams within this area is free of charge.
But those whose trip starts or finishes outside the boundaries of the Free Tram Zone must use your myki at the reader to ensure you have a valid ticket.

By Train
Our Fan Zone is a three-minute walk from Flinders Street Railway Station, which services all metropolitan and regional train lines, making for a convenient trip.
And as Australia’s oldest train station, ticks off another impressive sight for those visiting.
By Car
Thanks to the Fed Square Car Park, driving to the venue can be relatively straightforward.
Located on the Russell Street Extension and with a second entrance off Batman Ave, the Fed Square Car Park provides easy access to the Atrium.
There are also taxi services and ride-hailing apps operating in the area to catch a lift to our venue.
By Plane
Those arriving at Melbourne Airport have rail and taxi services available to reach the Fan Zone.
The Melbourne Airport Skybus takes arrivals straight to Southern Cross station, from which you can hop on another train to Flinders Street, leaving you a short five-minute walk away.
Please note that we expect the Fan Zone to be busy, so avoid bringing any large bags or luggage with you.
Getting to Albert Park Circuit from the Fan Zone
The Albert Park Circuit is south of our venue, making for the perfect pit spot before race day.
Those going to the track can find their way via the St Kilda Road tram from Batman Park/Spencer St, which will stop at Gates 5, 8, 9, and 10.
Extra trams will also run between Stop 122 Southern Cross Station and Gates 1, 2, and 3.
