Jenson Button, Williams Racing Brand Ambassador, will compete in three NASCAR Cup Series meetings in 2023.
The 2009 Formula 1 World Champion makes his debut for Rick Ware Racing later this month at Austin’s Circuit of the Americas.
His further two appearances will come at the inaugural Chicago Street Race in early July and at the Indianapolis Motor Speedway road course in mid-August.

“For me, it’s not about how quick the car is, it’s about how close the racing can be. In the Cup Series, the racing is awesome.
“It’s definitely going to be a shock to the system, but a toe in the water, so to speak, and hopefully help me be more competitive the next time I do it.”
This won’t be the only NASCAR action our Brand Ambassador is set for this year, with Jenson named as one of the drivers for NASCAR’s special entry in the 24 Hours of Le Mans.
