It goes without saying, if you haven’t watched the full series of DTS yet, there will be SPOILERS AHEAD.
MAKE YOUR MARK
Customise your own Driver Card and showcase your support for the team...
Firstly, some honourable mentions. Shoutout to the producer who made the brave call to let Alex be behind the camera in Singapore.
It led to some great moments, including Alex and George Russell joking on their inbound flight. There was also Albono having to have his age confirmed to him whilst in the DTS hot seat.
But now, here is our final four. Cast your vote, or scroll down to find out more on each moment:
1) JV’s Dating Analogy
If you thought Drive to Survive couldn’t surprise you anymore, think again. In Episode 4, Team Principal James Vowles left fans speechless with one of the most unexpected quotes in the series’ history.
“Signing a driver has some similarities to dating. You start with texts. And then it has dinner involved in it. And then it ends up in a hotel room.”
Did anyone have “James Vowles channelling his inner relationship guru” on their bingo card? Nope, neither did we.
2) Carlos Makes His Choice
Also in Episode 4, one of the biggest questions in the paddock was finally answered.
After plenty of speculation and a dramatic build-up, Carlos Sainz made his decision on where he’d be racing in 2025 and beyond – and it was with us.
A massive moment for the team and a thrilling watch for fans!
3) Alex Being a Megastar in Singapore
We all knew Alex Albon had a strong fanbase, but Episode 7 showed just how huge his support is in Singapore.
When asked by a producer, “But aren’t you a megastar in Singapore?”, the show cut to thousands of fans chanting his name at his Fan Zone appearance.
This must have been a pretty special moment for Albono.
4) Alex’s Football Trick/Fail in Brazil
This moment was short and sweet, and we’re not talking about Yuki Tsunoda.
In Episode 9, while waiting for his Fan Forum appearance in Brazil alongside the VCARB drivers, Alex attempted a rainbow flick with a mini football, handed to him by Yuki.
Samba music playing in the background, the scene was set for greatness – but let’s just say it didn’t quite come off.
Now it’s over to you! Which Williams moment from Drive to Survive Season 7 was your favourite? Cast your vote above and let’s see which moment comes out on top!
