A record-breaking 24-race calendar has been confirmed by Formula One and the FIA’s World Motor Sport Council this afternoon.
The season will once again be bookended by Bahrain on March 5 and Abu Dhabi on November 26, whilst familiar venues return to the calendar as well as a debutant.
Round 4 will see us return to the Shanghai International Circuit for the Chinese Grand Prix and for Round 19 we’ll head back to Losail for the second-ever Qatar Grand Prix.
The penultimate round of the championship sees us hit the Las Vegas strip for the very first time, racing under the lights for a third stateside Grand Prix.
Other noticeable changes include the Belgian Grand Prix switching to the first half of the campaign, having previously been the first race back after the summer break.
Of the 24 Grands Prix, six will make up two triple headers – Emilia Romagna, Monaco and Spain plus USA, Mexico and Brazil.
