Last week, we confirmed
our partnership extension with Resolve, the British-based Esports team, along with the exciting news that together we will compete in Fortnite Esports for the first time.
Today, we are very excited to officially welcome our first new Fortnite player, Cyprien ‘xsweeze’ Dumonteil.
The 17-year-old started his Fortnite journey in 2019 and has amassed a wealth of accolades ever since.
Cyprien has competed in numerous Fortnite Champion Series (FNCS) Grand Finals and boasts victories in Gamers Assembly and the Solacer Cup, plus several other tournaments, among his achievements so far.
This weekend, the French prodigy will make his official Williams Resolve debut in the FNCS Grand Finals alongside his teammate Podasai from Team Vitality.
Our renewed partnership with Resolve comes after an extremely successful 2021/22 season where Williams Resolve finished in the Top 10 of the European Fall and Winter splits of the Rocket League Championship Series (RLCS).
The team also amassed the largest viewership of a single European RLCS match, with over 125,000 viewers tuning in to see them take on Karmine Corp.
With our first foray into Fortnite, we’re excited to take another step in our journey to expand the reach of Williams beyond racing.
