The 2025 Formula 1 season gets underway in style with a launch event the likes of which we have never seen before.
All eyes will be on The O2 Arena in London as all 20 drivers and 10 Team Principals help reveal the 2025 liveries in front of a live audience, before the start of the sport’s 75th anniversary year.
26-28 February - Pre-Season Testing Starts
From the British capital, we’ll be heading to Bahrain for three days of Pre-Season Testing in the Sakhir desert.
It will be the first time we see the FW47 on track alongside the rest of the 2025 challengers.
14-16 March - Australian GP
For the first time since 2019, the season opener takes us down under. Melbourne will come to life with over 450,000 fans expected across the weekend.
It will be the first time the true pecking order for the 2025 season is revealed, so all eyes will be on Qualifying and the Grand Prix.
Joining us in Australia will be Formula 2 and Formula 3, whose campaigns also get underway around the streets of Albert Park.
21-23 March - Chinese GP
F1 in 2025 begins with a doubleheader, as we’ll be hopping on a flight from Melbourne straight to Shanghai.
The Chinese GP will be the first Sprint weekend of 2025, as well as hosting the opening race of the F1 Academy season.
23 March - Alex’s Birthday
How will you be celebrating your birthday in 2025? Well, Alex Albon will be racing in the Chinese Grand Prix when he turns 29 in March.
A points finish in Shanghai would be our first since 2016, so let’s hope we have even more reason to celebrate with Albono this year.
30 May - 1 June - Spanish GP
We can’t wait to experience Carlos’ first home race as a Williams Racing driver! We’re looking forward to seeing all the CS55 fans in blue, roaring us around the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya.
All eyes on Barcelona at the start of June.
20 June - James’ Birthday
Between the Canadian and Austrian Grands Prix, we’ll be celebrating James Vowles’ birthday. Our Team Principal will turn 45 on the 20th June.
4-6 July - British GP
It’s one of the first dates every Formula 1 fan looks for when the calendar is revealed. Our home race takes place on the first weekend in July, but will we be treated to some Silverstone sunshine or the traditional British weather?
Whatever the conditions, we’re sure it will be another memorable weekend at the home of F1’s very first race.
4-28 August - Summer Break
Time to socialise with your friends and family once again! We’ll be 14 rounds into the 2025 season by now, with three double-headers and two triple-headers in that run, so we’ll all be due some time to relax after a busy opening portion of the campaign.

1 September - Carlos’ Birthday
The day after the Dutch Grand Prix we’ll be marking Carlos’ 31st birthday. The four-time Grand Prix winner will be 15 races into his Williams Racing journey by then, and we can’t wait for this next chapter of his career to begin.
28 September - Maiden Title Anniversary
This season will mark 45 years since we secured our first Drivers’ and Constructors’ titles in 1980.
Alan Jones’ victory at the Canadian Grand Prix secured the Australian his crown, while Carlos Reutemann’s P2 ensured the team had an unassailable lead over Ligier and Brabham heading into the final round at Watkins Glen.

3-5 October - Singapore GP
The home of F1’s first night race is a big weekend for our No23, as he treats it like his home Grand Prix.
The southern tip of Thailand is just a nine-hour drive from Marina Bay, while it’s a 2.5 hour flight from the capital, Bangkok, meaning Albono sees a swell of support around the streets.
5-7 December - Abu Dhabi GP
Round 24 of 24 and the final race of the current technical era in Formula 1 takes place on the first weekend in December.
The story of the 2025 Formula 1 season is currently unwritten, so who knows where we’ll stack up by the time we arrive at Yas Marina, but we cannot wait to see how the year plays out.
