The Belgian Grand Prix has signed multi-year extension, with races confirmed for 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2031

Formula 1 has announced a multi-year agreement with the Belgian Grand Prix, ensuring the iconic Circuit de Spa-Francorchamps remains on the calendar into the next decade.
Weaving through the Ardennes Forest, Spa-Francorchamps is the longest circuit on the F1 calendar, spanning 7.004km. This new extension ensures Grands Prix will be held at this historic venue in the 2026, 2027, 2029 and 2031 seasons.
Known for the legendary run through Eau Rouge and Raidillon, as well as high-speed sections such as Pouhon and Blanchimont, the track remains a favourite among drivers and fans alike.
We are three-time winners at Spa, with Nigel Mansell winning the 1986 Belgian Grand Prix before Damon Hill took to the top step in both the 1993 and 1994 seasons.
It is also where George Russell delivered our most recent podium finish, with his stunning wet Qualifying lap in 2021 securing P2 in a race shortened by torrential rain.
"The Belgian Grand Prix was one of the races that made up our maiden Championship in 1950, so as we kick off our 75th anniversary year it is fitting that we can share the news of this important extension,” Stefano Domenicali, President and CEO of Formula 1, commented.
"Spa-Francorchamps is rightly lauded by drivers and fans alike as one of the finest racetracks in the world and it has played host to some incredible moments over its many seasons in Formula 1.
“In recent years it has undergone significant work to improve the facility and overall fan experience, and I would like to pay tribute to the promoter and the Government of Wallonia for their dedication and passionate support for Formula 1 in Belgium."
The 2025 Belgian Grand Prix will take place on 25-27 July and is the third F1 Sprint weekend of the season.
