Did you finish the PWP season on a high and could you beat The Strategist?

The scores for Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, have been calculated for the final time in 2024.
Abu Dhabi wasn't an easy round to predict for maximising points in the last chance to score this season, though.
There were no Pit Wall Perfection badges handed out from Yas Marina, and only two players managed to score 6/8 for 30 points in a low-scoring round.
Were you one of them? And if not, did you score higher than our Grove Guru known only as The Strategist?
Check below to see how your Abu Dhabi score compared.

Q1 & Q2: On which lap will Alex/Franco make their first stop?

Franco's puncture after the Virtual Safety Car's appearance early in the race meant nearly all players lost their chance of a perfect score in the first two questions.
Just 3.4% predicted our Argentinian to stop before Lap 10, but it was better news for the 78.6% who correctly called Alex's Lap 12 stop with their Lap 11-20 choice.
The Strategist went for Lap 11-20 for both drivers, so that's five points scored for them here.

Q3: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?

The puncture on car #43 happened at Turn 6, meaning a long trip back to the pit lane for Franco, who was almost a lap behind the pack when he stopped.
That meant P16-P20 was the correct choice here, something 13.8% of players predicted, but not The Strategist.

Q4: What will be the highest position we run at any stage during the race?

Alex's one-stop strategy meant his tyre whispering abilities were called upon again, and he used them to take his FW46 up to P9 in the latter stages of the race.
Most of you thought we'd be in the top-10 positions at some point in Abu Dhabi, so 55.7% scored five points for choosing P6-P10.
The Strategist believed we'd get on the cusp of the top-10, so didn't take any points for their P11-P15 selection.

Q5: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?

A mixture of one-stop and two-stops made this race tough to call from a tyre perspective.
Alex's one-stop nearly got a point-scoring finish through strategy, while Franco had to pit for necessity after his puncture.
That meant "two" stops was the right answer here, not "four" as The Strategist and 51.6% thought. Five points for 19.5% of players here.

Q6: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?

We had a VSC, but the season finale didn't feature a full Safety Car period in 2024.
Bad news for The Strategist, who predicted a single slowdown, but not for 37.4% who correctly went with "zero".

Q7: At the end of the race, how close will the gap between Alex/Franco and the car ahead be?

A low-scoring pair of questions to end the season here, with Franco retiring and Alex's hard Pirelli tyres fading in the latter laps.
Albono's 15-second gap to the top 10 meant only 10% of players got points for selecting "5.1+ seconds" here.
That's still more than the 4.3% who thought Franco wouldn't finish his final race in a FW46.
Like most players, The Strategist didn't score any points in the final pair of questions.
The Strategist's Score: 1/8
An awful end to the season for The Strategist, who ends 2024 with 420 points after only taking five points away from Yas Marina.
If you scored 10 points for two correct answers, then you're one of the 40.8% to leave Abu Dhabi with 2/8; the most common score of the week.
One person managed to beat everyone else at the top with a stunning score of 485 points, though, ending the year just ahead of P2.
