Montreal often presents a challenging weekend for those trying to call the shots, but do you think you have what it takes to deliver a perfect strategy?
Well Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf, lets you prove just that - and now it’s your turn to make your calls.
One person who has made their predictions already is our secretive Grove Guru, known only as ‘The Strategist’ – they’re sitting in joint P3, but can you stop them?
There are 40 more points up for grabs this weekend, and here’s what they’ve chosen.
Make your Pit Wall Predictions
You can change your answers right up until the formation lap on Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf
Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?
Lap 11-20. It’s in this window that we saw most drivers, including Alex, make their first stop in 2023, and I feel it might be the same this year.
Q2: On which lap will Logan make his first stop?
Lap 11-20. Logan was forced to retire with an issue before he could make a pit stop in 2023, so in 2024 I’m predicting he’ll come in around the same time as Albono.
Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?
Alex. This season has seen Alex stop first more often, and I fancy that trend to continue in Montreal.
Q4: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?
P11-P15. The midfield is incredibly tight this year, so to play it safe, I’ve gone for this option which should allow for us to either blink first or come into the pits after others.

Q5: When will our fastest lap of the race be recorded?
Lap 57+. There are a lot of factors that could change this, including the weather, but I feel like our quickest lap will come in the closing stages.
Q6: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?
Zero. I don’t think that the VSC will be called upon this weekend.
Q7: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?
One. There was one full Safety Car in 2023, and this venue has a 67% SC probability, so I’m playing it safe here.
Q8: Where will the leading Williams driver finish the race?
P6-P10. I’m going for a back-to-back points finish for the team - with so many unknowns heading into the weekend thanks to the weather, the chance to spring into that top 10 once again is firmly on the table.
You’ve heard from The Strategist, now it’s time to make your decisions below. You have until the formation lap on Sunday to make any changes, good luck!
