As part of Fan Appreciation 2024, we’ve reached out to some of our most engaged fans to find out why they follow Williams Racing.
Fans have been invited to share with us their Pit Wall Predictions scores on social media. We’ve reached out to some of those that have and they have been so generous with their time, sharing their stories with us.
Next up is David Guimond, you can see his score above. This is his story:
I enjoy playing the Pit Wall Predictions game on the Williams app because it lets me participate in each race weekend without being there. I like the fact that I’m competing against other fans from around the world.
I also enjoy collecting the various badges for each race and other achievements. The app also keeps me informed about the team, drivers and behind-the-scenes insights regarding Williams.
Williams Racing has a rich history dating back to Alan Jones in 1980, with many great drivers winning championships in their cars. The team, like many others in the past, fell on hard times.
My fandom was rekindled seeing the many positive steps taken to rebuild the team into a force to be reckoned with. Great drives by Alex Albon in the last two seasons showed potential and with Carlos Sainz coming on board, the future looks bright!
