The weather has been all over the place so far this weekend, but will that change your Pit Wall Prediction, presented by Gulf?
One thing is for sure, our secretive Grove Guru, known only as ‘The Strategist’, has been pouring over all the data we have gathered so far.
Sat joint in P4, The Strategist is certainly looking to make a title charge – can you stop them? There are 40 more points up for grabs this weekend, and here’s what they’ve chosen.
Make your Pit Wall Predictions
You can change your answers right up until the formation lap on Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf
Q1 & Q2: On which lap will Alex and Logan make their first stop?
Lap 11-20. We've been boxing in this range frequently, so I fancy both of our first stops to be made in this window again.
Q3: Who will be the first Williams driver to pit?
Logan Sargeant. I think we'll see Sarge as our first stopper at Silverstone.
Q4: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them ?
Four. I'm playing it safe with the changeable conditions in the air, picking a double stop strategy for both drivers.
Q5 & Q6: What tyre will Alex and Logan end their race on?
Medium. For Q5 & Q6, I'm thinking we'll see both drivers end their race on the yellow-walled Pirelli tyre compound.
Q7: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?
Zero. I don’t think that the VSC will be called upon this weekend. Last year's deployment was a rare VSC appearance at Silverstone.
Q8: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?
One. There’s every chance of an incident around this circuit – I’m going for one SC deployment.
You’ve heard from The Strategist, now it’s time to make your decisions below. You have until the formation lap on Sunday to make any changes, good luck!
