The Racing Prodigy: Prodigy Three Championship – Season 1 returned for its second event in the series and a first for 2025. Held at Sebring International Raceway on 7th and 8th January.
This exciting new series transitions sim racers to real-world circuits, bringing together drivers from across the globe to compete in a ground-breaking championship. Participants have the chance to earn a paid contract to race in Radical SR1 cars.
Following our success at NOLA, where we secured victory against Suckerpunch, Williams aimed to carry that momentum into the second event at Sebring.
Qualifying
After two practice sessions on the first day to analyse lap times and performance, our youngest prodigy, Kamden Hibbitt, was given the nod for qualifying on the first day of the event. Looking to replicate his impressive performance from the previous event, Kamden took to the track.
After a 20-minute qualifying session featuring top drivers from all six teams, Kamden crossed the line in P1. However, on his final lap, Edoardo Leo of TC Racing managed to set the fastest time of the session. Fortunately, this did not impact our starting positions, as Kamden's rapid 1:17.401 lap ensured we would begin both races from pole position.

Race One – vs. BS+ Competition
After a well-earned rest, the drivers returned for the second day of on-track action. Our first race against BS+ Competition started strongly, with Kamden fiercely defending his lead on the opening lap while David battled his way into P2 early on.
From there on, it was all about race management. Kamden and David expertly controlled the pace, preventing a charging Garrett Lowe from closing the gap. Further back, Siro continued his impressive real-world racing development, maintaining pace with the frontrunners and keeping Brenna Schubert firmly behind him. Unfortunately, Nathan encountered a recurring issue that prevented his car from reaching the finish, resulting in a DNF after just a few laps.
By the chequered flag, David had fought tooth and nail, maintaining a solid gap to Kamden and kept Garrett Lowe at bay, securing a fantastic 1-2 finish. Kamden celebrated his second win of the series, while Siro recorded a season best P5, showcasing his progress from simulator to real-life racing.

Race Two – vs. Guild Esports
Just a few hours later, Race 2 was underway. Once again, the team started from pole, and Kamden held onto his position at the front. Further back, Siro defended his place ahead of Aimee Frame, while Nathan and David fought in midfield.
It quickly became evident that Guild’s Will Redford - who had been in exceptional form throughout the event - would challenge Kamden for the lead. Within a few laps, Redford made his move and overtook the young Williams prodigy. From there, Kamden and Nathan worked to defend their positions from the remaining Guild drivers. However, Nathan Maximin found unexpected pace and managed to pass Kamden on the final lap, securing P2.
In the midfield, Nathan and David put up a strong fight but were ultimately overtaken by Laurens Beerten just before the finish. Siro once again pushed hard to the line, finishing ahead of Aimee Frame.
While the result was somewhat disappointing and did not fully reflect our efforts, that’s the nature of racing. Nevertheless, Kamden’s podium finish solidified his position at the top of the Drivers’ Championship, and as a team, we concluded the event with a 2-2 record, placing 4th in the standings.
The team will now regroup and analyse the key takeaways from this event as we look ahead to our next challenge at Homestead-Miami Speedway.
