When badges become reality

Every Grand Prix weekend, we bring you a unique badge to unlock as part of our exclusive live blog coverage from inside the Williams Racing camp.

The eagle-eyed amongst you will have also noticed that we often bring our badges to life even further. When we drop limited-edition merchandise lines, our unique badges appear as a key feature on our t-shirts, hoodies and caps alike.

So, without further ado, let’s have a browse through those badges that have become reality, as well as offering you some very special deals on our merch.

Ahead of the first-ever Miami Grand Prix in 2022, we collaborated with contemporary artist SURGE to give our famous ‘W’ monogram a fresh look and feel.

This resulted in a striking ‘M’ badge which featured plenty of nods to Miami, while full of vibrant colours and cartoon illustrations.

It also featured on one of the top-selling products of the year, the Miami Badge T-Shirt, which is now available in our online store with 30% off.

Last year, we returned to Montreal for the first Canadian Grand Prix since 2019 and we celebrated with this stunning badge and a limited-edition Canada collection to boot.

The Canada badge was beautifully simple, featuring the W monogram with a maple leaf backdrop, and looked even better on our merch.

Our home race at Silverstone saw the release of this unmistakably British badge, which proved popular throughout the weekend in our live blog.

The stunning logo also adorned our most extensive range of the year, the Great Britain collection, which flew off the shelves of our Westfield London pop-up as well as online.

You may no longer be able to unlock the badge itself, but you can still get your hands on the merch, at a hefty discount.

They say “everything’s bigger in Texas” and we sure enjoyed one of the biggest weeks of the year in Austin.

We unveiled this stunning badge which offered a tip of the hat (pun intended) to the Texas capital, then plastered it on a soft cotton tee, which went down a storm both online and in our Austin store.

Onto 2023 and our first badge to become reality: Australia. There is plenty of inspo behind the Australian badge - which you can read about here - but it’s quite hard to miss the iconic silhouette of a kangaroo leaping across the Aussie landscape.

This was without doubt one of your favourite badges, and ranges, with many of the thousands of fans who queued to see Alex Albon and Logan Sargeant at our Melbourne pop-up, getting in on the action.
