James Vowles offers an insight into how the team will rebuild after a brutal weekend

Williams Racing left São Paulo with a feeling of what could have been after a pair of Qualifying crashes hampered any chance of a strong result.
Another incident in the race has led to an understandable strain on the team's spares supply with just three races remaining in the 2024 season.
Answering a fan’s question on the latest episode of The Vowles Verdict, presented by Kraken, James Vowles offered an insight into where the team stands heading into the final triple-header.
“There’s no team on the grid that can cope with five major accidents in two race weekends,” JV explained.
“Simply put, the amount of spares that we carry are not sufficient to carry that amount of attrition.”

Next up for the team is the Las Vegas Grand Prix, an event that saw the team lock out the third row of the grid, and the Williams Team Principal is aware that there is an opportunity for a positive result.
“I have high hopes for [Las Vegas], we were fast there last year, and I’m confident we have a car that can work well in those conditions.
“We are going to do our absolute utmost to get two cars to the best specification that they can be, with sufficient spares around us to make that happen.
“What that looks like is difficult to predict at the moment, we’re still getting the items back from Brazil and determining what we have to do in terms of constructing and building in order to get ourselves in the best place possible.”
