Make your Pit Wall Predictions
You can change your answers right up until the formation lap on Pit Wall Predictions, presented by Gulf
Q1 & Q2: On which lap will Alex and Logan make their first stop?
Lap 11-20. I fancy that they’ll both be in during the Lap 11-20 window. With high track temperatures expected alongside the softest tyres in the Pirelli range, I think we’ll see a lot of the field make their stops during this phase of the race.
Q3: When the first Williams Racing driver pits, what position will they pit from?
P11-P15. It’s where both our drivers will start from, so I’m playing it safe and saying we’ll be in this bracket when the time comes to make our first stop.
Q4: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them ?
Four. It was a two-stopper for both our drivers last year, and with high temperatures I expect that to be the minimum we’ll see this year.
Q5: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?
One. As we have seen throughout the weekend, any incident can be pretty big here, particularly in that middle sector. I’m covering that possibility with just one deployment.
Q6 & Q7: Which tyre will Alex and Logan end their races on?
Medium. I think we’ll see both cross the line of the yellow-walled medium compound of Pirelli tyre.
Q8: What position will the leading Williams Racing driver finish the race in?
P11-P15. We’re starting in a good position to fight, but do have some cars out of position behind us. Perhaps I’m being cautious, but I’m saying P11-P15. Of course, I’ll be delighted should we make our way into the top 10.
