Did you beat the average score last weekend, and are you ready for Lusail?

The 2024 Las Vegas GP was a relatively low-scoring round on our free-to-play game, Pit Wall Predictions presented by Gulf.
Over 85% of players last week scored half marks or lower, with just one fan managing a top score of 7/8 correct answers.
Find out below how you fared, as well as for our secretive guru, ‘The Strategist’ then get ready for Qatar by putting in your early calls for the weekend ahead.

Q1: On which lap will Alex make his first stop?
Alex stopped at the end of the ninth lap, placing him inside the Lap 1-10 bracket. Just 3% of players were correct on the opening question, but The Strategist was not one of them.
Q2: On which lap will Franco make his first stop?
Franco pulled in on the 16th tour around the Las Vegas Strip Circuit, which was music to the ears of 58% of players this weekend, including our Grove Guru.
Q3: Which Williams Racing driver will pit first?
After splitting our strategy, Alex was the first Williams driver to stop thanks to his medium tyre start. 63% of players picked up five points here, but The Strategist was not one of them.
Q4: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?
We ended up making just three stops throughout the entire 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix owing to Albono’s mid-race retirement.
Only 22% of fans selected “3 stop” ahead of the race.
Q5: How many Virtual Safety Car periods will there be?
The VSC was not deployed at any stage during the Grand Prix, and 21% of players called this correctly, including our Strategist.
Q6: How many full Safety Car periods will there be?
Now this one caught a lot of people out, with not many predicting a Safety Car-less Grand Prix. Just one in every five players scored points in this question, and The Strategist’s pre-race call of one deployment was wide of the mark.
Q7: Which tyre will Alex end his race on?
Alex had started the race on the medium tyre and stopped just once, meaning when his race came to an end whilst running the hard tyre. 63% of PWP players, plus The Strategist, were correct here
Q8: Which tyre will Franco end his race on?
Franco passed the chequered flag whilst running hard tyres, 54% rounded out their Vegas round with five points, including The Strategist.
The Strategist's Score: 4/8
It's a middle-of-the-road performance for our guru, as 20% of players also scoring 20 points.
The most common score this week was 15 points, whilst congratulations to one fan who top-scored with 35.
Our Strategist is P33 in the standings with 395 points to their name, 55 points adrift of our sole leader who sits P1 with 450 points.
