Q1 & Q2: On which lap will Alex/Carlos make their first stop?
Unlike in Melbourne, we were treated to warm and stable conditions in Shanghai. However, the newly resurfaced circuit was making life tricky for tyres.
Both Alex and Carlos started on the mediums before making their only stop for the hards within the Lap 11-20 window, earning The Strategist a perfect start and the vast majority of fans too.
Q3: Which Atlassian Williams Racing driver will pit first?
Carlos was the first to swing by the garage in Shanghai, earning 41% of players five points on question 3.
Our guru was not among those to score here, as they had predicted Alex would be the first to box.
Q4: When the first Williams driver pits, what position will they pit from?
Carlos was P8 when he passed the pit lane entry line, placing him within the P6-P10 bracket
The Strategist called this right, as did 73% of fans who were playing along.

Q5: How many pit stops will our drivers make between them?
All the signs pre-race were pointing towards this being a two-stop Grand Prix, which would explain why 45% of fans opted for that outcome. However the hard tyres held on much better than most were expecting, allowing both Alex and Carlos to stop just once.
This opened the door for 22% of fans to score five points, but The Strategist was not among them.
Q6: How many full Safety Car deployments will there be?
Unlike in Melbourne, the Safety Car was not needed on what proved to be a relatively incident-free afternoon in Shanghai.
Just 11% of players saw this coming, all of whom went against The Strategist’s pre-race prediction of one deployment.
Q7 & Q8: Which tyre will Alex/Carlos end his race on?
Both Alex and Carlos ended the afternoon on the hard compound of Pirelli rubber, something 58% (Alex) and 63% (Carlos) correctly predicted.
The Strategist nailed this call, ending their round on a positive note.
The Strategist's Score: 5/8 - 25 points
A good haul of points for The Strategist after a tough first round for them in Melbourne, exactly in line with the most common score on the game this week.
As already mentioned, 17 fans scored maximum points in Shanghai, with a further 150 missing out by just one question.
One player tops the class on 60 points after two rounds, that's an impressive 75% answer rate.
