Welcome to the Las Vegas Grand Prix, the newest addition to the Formula 1 calendar after its 2023 debut, set against the iconic backdrop of the Las Vegas Strip.
The Las Vegas Strip Circuit brings the spectacle of F1 racing to one of the world’s most famous entertainment destinations, somehow rivalling Monaco's glamour and excitement, but in a very Vegas way.
Designed to showcase the city’s landmarks, the 6 km tour of Sin City delivered thrilling racing under the neon lights last year to make it an instant hit.
Circuit Overview:
Las Vegas Strip Circuit's 17 turns and 6.201 km (3.853 miles) distance is a high-speed challenge featuring long straights and tight corners that navigate through and around the city’s iconic Strip.
The first and third sectors see a handful of corners simply interrupting the flat-out racing that succeeds and precedes them, and the DRS runs into Turn 5 and especially Turn 14 serve as the circuit's prime overtaking spots
Sector 2, by comparison, is the technical part of the track that circumnavigates the unmissable Sphere, before spitting the drivers out onto Las Vegas Boulevard, AKA The Strip.

All done under the lights
And that is that for the 2024 Las Vegas Grand Prix. Some solid pace from Franco, and some real misfortune on Alex's part. Full focus switches to the final two weekends of the season, starting with Qatar in six days' time.
Full reaction to the evening to follow shortly...

James Vowles to Franco
Well, Franco, I think it's a good recovery from where we were yesterday. There's a lot of learning on, certainly, how to use those front tyres. And we've still got two more races to go. So, well done on the recovery. I'm looking forward to finishing the season.

PIT to Franco
It's a shame. We tried with Magnussen. Maybe that was a bit aggressive and we had to pay the price. We're learning. I think the race was solid. Good tyre management. Good work on that, definitely.

Checquered Flag!
Zhou does indeed get Franco on the final lap, and it's a P14 finish for our Argentinian

PIT to Franco
Okay, so you'll have to potentially defend to Zhou.
