NEXT STOP: MELBOURNE
As Melbourne returns to Formula 1 as the season opener, the ‘Atlassian Williams Fan Zone Presented by Kraken’ will be heading back to Fed Square for a third year.
Kicking off on 10th March, the Fan Zone is the ultimate F1 fan experience, giving fans the opportunity to interact with the team and its partners in new and exciting ways, offering Q&As with drivers and key staff, interactive experiences, and unrivalled access to the sport for fans new and old.
Hosted at the famous Fed Square in the heart of Melbourne, the Fan Zone offers a unique way to get involved with the F1 action whether attending the race or not.
To access this exclusive Fan Zone experience, fans are required to download the Atlassian Williams Racing App, sign up for their Driver Card, and present to team member. They can also access the latest event information and extra chances to win prizes via the app.
During the week, fans will be able to:
Hear Q&As from Atlassian Williams Racing F1 driver Carlos Sainz, Williams Racing Academy Driver Luke Browning, and Team Principal James Vowles – (Luke, Weds 19:00 | Carlos, Thurs 18:00 | James, Thurs 18:30)
Chase the fastest lap times at the Albert Park Grand Prix Circuit on state-of-the-art Esports simulators and see the FW47 show car up close
Meet our presenting partner Kraken and learn all about their Exchange, the Grid Pass, and new wallet. You can also win prizes on their Reaction Ring, Plinko, and Buzzer Game.
Explore the team’s partners, getting behind the controls of Komatsu’s haul truck simulator and experience the thrill of operating one of the world’s biggest machines. Fans can test their reflexes in the Career Catch Challenge, grabbing fluttering career cards for exciting prizes, or enter the photo contest for another chance to win big.

Are you quick around Albert Park? Head down to the Fan Zone every morning to set a lap on one of our sims, after which the quickest drivers will be invited back to compete in a grand final daily – streamed live across the world!

How much does it cost to enter?
Our Fan Zones are free to enter! For the best experience, make sure you’ve downloaded the Atlassian Williams Racing app (also free!), register for the Fan Zone and get your Driver Card.
How do I play on the Esports simulator rigs?
Playing on the simulators is completely free, all we ask is that you download the Williams Racing app and register for the Fan Zone.
What are the opening hours?
Our opening hours and will be announced soon.
How do I win prizes?
You have the chance to win prizes by scanning NFC codes at our Fan Zone! Simply join the Williams Racing app to get started.
Can I bring food and drink?
We kindly ask that you refrain from consuming food and drink inside the Fan Zone as it is not permitted.
Is there disabled access?
The Melbourne Fan Zone is located at street level. Please see a member of staff should you require any further assistance.
What time shall I arrive for a driver Q&A?
Our driver appearances are always very popular and space is operated on a first come first serve basis. We strongly suggest arriving early to avoid any disappointment.
Can I buy Williams Racing items at the Fan Zone?
Of course! We will have a wide range of Williams Racing merchandise available to purchase. Our Fan Zone only accepts card payments.
Can I make returns?
You can return for free during the Fan Zone, otherwise you may incur shipping costs.
Are there public bathrooms or changing rooms?
No, we do not have these in the Fan Zone.
